WHERE IS BLUES ON THE GREEN?
On August 5 and 6, Austin’s beloved ZILKER PARK will host Blues on the Green. It is located at 2100 Barton Springs Road, between MOPAC Expressway and Lamar Blvd.
ACCESSIBLE BLUES ON THE GREEN
Fans with mobility limitations can park in accessible parking (requires Moontower/ Polo parking pass and state issued placard). Metro Access can drop off/ pick up attendees with mobility limitations in Accessible parking, as well.
Enter the concert area on Lou Neff Road and Stratford Drive, and use the accessible ramp from Lou Neff Road to enter the concert field. A viewing area is located near the food vendors on the south side of the park.
Accessible restrooms are included in each row of portable toilets.
Accessible routes are identified on the map. Blues on the Green does not provide mobility devices or personal assistance. Please plan ahead to navigate crowds and the natural terrain of Zilker Park.
Also note that Barton Springs Road will be closed from ~9pm until 11pm between Azie Morton Road and Andrew Zilker Road. Traffic delays will occur. The official pick-up/ drop off is located outside of the street closures at 2107 Veterans Drive Austin, Texas 78703.
WHERE CAN I PARK AT BLUES ON THE GREEN?
Reserve a parking pass for onsite event parking in Zilker Park or Austin High School surface lot.
If you plan to drive to Blues on the Green, we recommended reserving your parking ahead of time. There are a limited number of spots available each night, and parking areas will be filled in order of arrival.
We offer two parking options within Zilker Park and one at Austin High School. Parking passes are $25 each. Zilker parking lots open at 5:00pm and may sell out in advance. Purchase your parking pass now to reserve your space. Be sure to follow instructions on your parking ticket to each lot.
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
There is no parking in the neighborhoods around Zilker Park. Towing and ticketing will be enforced. Please respect the neighbors of Zilker Park.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND DROP OFF AT BLUES ON THE GREEN
Accessible parking is available in Zilker Park, first-come, first-served. Please purchase a parking pass ahead of time to reserve a space in Zilker. A state issued ID/ placard must be paired with a parking pass to park in the accessible lot. The person to whom the placard belongs must be present. Purchase a MOONTOWER / POLO FIELD parking pass, follow arrival instructions, and present your pass with a state issued to staff at the pass checkpoint.
WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO DRIVE TO ZILKER PARK?
Zilker Park is in close to downtown and there are many ways to get there! Consider bikes, scooters, CapMetro and using Austin’s shared use paths to walk
RIDESHARE
Taking a ride share is an option, too. The best pick-up and drop-off location is 2107 Veterans Drive. Cross the pedestrian bridge over Lady Bird Lake and take a short stroll to the Great Lawn of Zilker from there.
THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS OFFER FREE BLUES ON THE GREEN RIDESHARE CREDIT
CAPMETRO
CapMetro is a convenient option to get to and from Blues on the Green. There are a few routes to choose from, including Metrobus (Routes 3 and 30) and MetroRapid (Route 803) which offer convenient and low-cost ways to travel. Kids (18 and under) ride free on CapMetro!
For those looking to catch a ride straight to Zilker Park, MetroRapid 803 is the best option. Riders can pick up MetroRapid at any station between The Domain and Westgate and take it to the Barton Springs Station, located directly on Lamar, near Zilker Park. MetroBus 3 and MetroBus 30 also provide nearby stops to Zilker Park.

BIKE ACCESS
Ample bike parking is located in Zilker Park along Barton Springs Road. You can also take a rental e-bike from various CapMetro stations downtown.
HOW WILL TRAFFIC BE AFFECTED BY BLUES ON THE GREEN?
Attention drivers! There will be road closures around Zilker Park (2100 Barton Springs Road) for Blues on the Green on August 5 and 6. Expect delays after 5pm until 11pm.
