I’m an Austin native with a soft spot for small stages, sunny festival weekends, and the thrill of discovering bands before everyone else does. I’m a lover of the antiquated. Vinyl records, film photography, thrifted denim, and vintage magazines fill every corner of my home. I’m convinced I was a cowboy in a past life… yearning for my unrequited love and only finding solace in the burn of a shot of whiskey and the fleeting sounds of a slide guitar blown through the desert breeze.

In this life, you’ll still find me enjoying live music with an old-fashioned (and a sparkling water) in hand. When I’m not in the studio, you can find me spending time with my beloved wiener dog, Olive, absolutely crushing the music round at trivia, or, walking through the streets of Austin with my ears peeled, seeking out my next favorite band.

The thing I love most about KGSR is having the ability to play the music of smaller bands who keep the live music capital of the world alive. There is SO MUCH good music in this city, and I want more people to know that.
