There are many different organizations across Central Texas helping victims of the flooding, these are just a few of the organizations. Please feel free to help however you can, and give to whatever charity you feel is best suited. The need will be there, and anything helps!
The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift.
The American Red Cross is also assisting in rescue and relief efforts. Choose “Disaster Relief” on the linked donation page.
Austin Pets Alive! is collecting donations to help with animal transport from affected areas and more.
Williamson County Animal Shelter – looking for fosters to help with Georgetown Animal Shelter Evacuation
TEXSAR is an independent group actively helping with search and rescue in Kerr County now.
Arcadia Live theater in downtown Kerrville is serving as a reunification and relief center for those affected. Support them at the link.
And Austin Disaster Relief Network is accepting donations and may have some volunteer opportunities at the link.
El Arroyo will match donations up to $4000
Also, per Austin Monthly Magazine, many Austin area merchants are contributing a share of profits to help folks out. These include Pinthouse Pizza and Pinthouse Brewing, Cabo Bob’s, and more.
