Concordia University has opened two residence halls free of charge to first responders and healthcare workers supporting COVID-19 efforts. Uniformed first responder and front-line healthcare personnel may reserve one of more than 120 single-occupancy rooms to rest between shifts to minimize any fear of exposing their own households to the virus.

To reserve a room, visit https://www.concordia.edu/firstresponder.

“The university feels privileged to support our local first responders as they work selflessly for our community,” says Kristin Coulter, vice president of partnerships. “We look forward to serving you while we continue to care for our on and off-campus students, staff, and faculty.”

Concordia is open to working with more agencies across Central Texas as space is available. First responder agencies or healthcare organizations may contact Kristin Coulter for more information at kristin.coulter@concordia.edu or 512-313-4607.
