Today’s new issue of the Austin Chronicle features a really nice rundown of the recently-late James White, and the immense impact that the Broken Spoke has had on Austin and on country music in general. While you’re there, pop over to the Music Poll and drop a click for ACL Radio!

One positive indicator of an eventual return to “normal” is the resumption of the quarterly Eater 38 – Eater’s rundown of Austin’s most essential restaurants. Super impressed that SLAB BBQ is hanging in there and getting some much-deserved love.

Does an animated spinoff of Game Of Thrones mean it will be more kid-centric and less stabby? We shall see.

There’s a bad moon on the rise.

And finally, Happy Birthday to our friend Sarah McLachlan!
