Doctor's orders: vocalist and keyboardist Hannah Hooper must not sing or talk for a month due to an "aggravated vocal chord." Here's the announcement from the Grouplove website:
We are deeply sorry to announce that we will be postponing our upcoming shows in the UK and Europe. Hannah is under strict orders from the doctor that she cannot sing (or talk for that matter) for the next four weeks as she undergoes a procedure to repair an aggravated vocal chord. We promise to do everything we can to make it up and come back as soon as we possibly can (we're planning for May now). We hope you understand our situation, and we are deeply sorry for any additional inconvenience this causes you... and hold on to your tickets, they will still be valid.

Sunday marks the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' groundbreaking appearance on the "Ed Sullivan Show," which was broadcast from the same New York theater that Letterman now occupies.

Mark Foster says, "I feel like Los Angeles has given us a lot, and we wanted to give something back. There's a lot of people who live down here, who walk past or ride the bus to work past that wall every day. They have no idea who we are, but they're going to be able to see a piece of art that's making their neighborhood more beautiful, even if they never listen to the band."
