It's December, which means it's that odd time of year when all of that holiday music that you're really digging right now to get into the holiday spirit is also going to make you cringe in just a few weeks' time. So, before you grinch out, take a break from "Jingle Bell Rock" and "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and relive this year's best (non-Christmas) albums with your very own trusted KGSR jocks. It wasn't easy, but Kristen and Andy have once again compiled a list of their top ten albums of the year.

This year we saw some highly anticipated album releases (Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City), well-received break out artists (Lorde), and some new albums from some tried and true quality bands (The National with Trouble Will Find Me).
