John Mayer Announces First Tour in Three Years
Monica Zhang

John Mayer will return to the road with a sprawling, summer-long tour that will see him visit over 40 cities in four countries, starting July 6.  The singer-songwriter has been absent from the stage after undergoing two rounds of surgery to repair a granuloma in his throat. At one point he was told he might never sing again.

Things will kick off with a show at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mayer is set to criss-cross the States throughout summer and into the early fall, his last booked show a gig at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on October 5th.

Good news for Texas fans, Mayer will stop by on July 12th and 13th with two shows at Woodlands and Dallas. Unfortunately, he won’t be in Austin.
