The Tonight Show Welcomes Rock Hall Inductees
Tonight is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony and, in its honor, Jimmy Fallon has had a slew of inductees stopping by The Tonight Show all this week.  First up, on Monday Night, was John Oates–one half of the soon-to-be-inducted Hall & Oates–who sat in with the Roots. The collaboration is more than coincidence, as the Roots's drummer ?uestlove will be inducting the duo tonight. Check out a clip of Oates's appearance below:         Tuesday night brought out another inductee, Yusuf Islam (better known as Cat Stevens), who also collab'd with the Roots, performing three of his songs: "The First Cut Is the Deepest," "Wild World," and "The Wind":  Then last night, Fallon had Nirvana's two remaining members–Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl–in for an interview, followed by the two introducing the night's special musical guests: Stevie Nicks and "Tom Petty"–a.k.a. Fallon donning a blonde wig. Nicks and Fallon's performance re-created the video for Nicks and Petty's 1981 duet "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and it's pretty great. Check it out here: The week's Rock Hall-themed guests will finish up tomorrow night, April 11th, with a performance from KISS.

Video: Coldplay's "Magic"
Coldplay released a new video this morning for the track, "Magic" off of their latest album Ghost Stories. Without giving too much away, the video features the recently consciously uncoupled Chris Martin playing two magicians caught in a love triangle with actress, Ziyi Zhang. The 1920s silent film style somehow works despite the very obvious current-day city location behind them complete with skyline and modern cars. Call it magic.

Hear Janelle Monáe Cover Bowie's "Heroes"
Futuristic soul diva Janelle Monáe has recently put her spin on one of the Thin White Duke's most iconic songs: the musician/CoverGirl has covered Bowie's "Heroes," as part of Pepsi's 2014 "Now Is What You Make It" campaign, which aims to combine music and soccer. Monáe and Bowie have a mutual appreciation for each other–Monáe told Rolling Stone that she heard from Bowie's wife Iman that he is a "huge supporter of me, the way I dress and my music"–and Monáe's goal with this cover was to both make Bowie proud and make it her own."Bowie is part of my musical DNA in so many ways. And 'Heroes' is one of my favorite songs," said Monáe. "When you love your favorite song, you want to keep some of the beautiful qualities of the original, but we brought Atlanta in the drums and wanted them to be thick and hard. It's like us remaining it. I thought, 'If this song was in my dream, how would it get from our dream to my reality?'"Monáe has also filmed an interactive video for the song, in Rio de Janeiro, with numerous global soccer stars. The video is set to appear in ...

Ed Sheeran Fulfills Dying Fan's Final Wish

And thanks to a whirlwind Twitter campaign put together by her loved ones, she lived to see it happen.Following a dramatic downturn in her health earlier this week, Priestley's friends and family took to Twitter and began posting tweets directed at Sheeran, with the hashtag #SongForTri. The hashtag was trending by Sunday night and, shortly afterward, Sheeran's management contacted Priestley's friend Lucy Hanlon to arrange a call between Sheeran and Priestley.Sheeran sang Priestley her favorite song, "Little Bird," "as she took her last breaths," according to Hanlon. "Triona left us listening to her idol surrounded by all the people who loved her," said Hanlon. "People's respect is incredible. We would like to thank everyone."Upon hearing the news of Priestley's passing, Sheeran sent out the following tweet in her memory:     Rest in peace Triona, so heartbreaking x — Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) April 1, 2014 You can honor her memory as well, by watching this "Little Bird" performance video:
