The First Austin African Violet Society will hold its Spring Display and Sale on March 16-17, 2013. Hours for the show are 10am-4:30pm on Saturday the 16th and 11am-4pm on Sunday the 17th. This event will take place at the Austin Area Garden Center, Zilker Botanical Garden, 2220 Barton Springs Rd., Austin, TX 78746. Special demonstrations on Saturday, March 16th - 1:00pm-Growing in a Shoebox presented by Glenda Williams and 2:30pm-Bug Buster presented by Kathy Brewster. African violet and related gesneriads plants and growing supplies will be on sale. Entry fee to Zilker Botanical Garden is $1-children 3-12/seniors 62+ and $2-adults 13-61.
