Texas Humane Heroes Invites You to Take Off the Chill with Chili & Warm Your Heart to a Forever Friend!

The 2013 Chili Cookoff is a simple yet powerful way to support Texas Humane Heroes’ life-saving mission while putting chili cooking or tasting skills to the test.

CJ’s Catering is sponsoring the Chili Cookoff by providing guests with all-you-can-eat chili at this year’s event. A $10 donation for adults or $5 for children ages 10 and under provides guests with all-you-can-eat chili, tasting of contestants’ chili, and a beverage.

Chili chef contestants are encouraged to register in advance at www.texashumaneheroes.org/chili for a slot inthe cooking competition at $30 per entry. Table, chairs, bowls, and spoons will be provided by Texas Humane Heroes. Chili chefs should bring all necessary fixin’s to make their chili the best! Terrific prizes will be awarded for the top three chili chefs! Sponsorships are also available for local businesses to join in the community-wide event, helping to support the organization’s No Kill mission and attract future customers.

“We are so excited about our 4th Annual Chili Cookoff, as this event has always been such a great success and the perfect winter activity to help keep you and family warm!
