Corgi Rescue Fundraiser and Herding Fun Day

The main goal of the Corgi Celebration is to bring the Corgi Fancy together to celebrate the breed and help raise money for Texas Corgi Rescue Programs. Dog lovers come from all over the United States to attend, although most participants are from Texas. In 2011, over 350 people attended with their Corgis. Since 2002, the Annual Corgi Celebrations have raised over $31,000.00 for Texas Corgi Rescue.
Events include:
-Rescue Parade…Past and Present
-AKC Performance demonstrations presented to the public to offer more information and participation in Agility, Herding, Obedience, Pet Therapy, Rally and Tracking.
-Corgi Costume Contests
-Silent Auction
-AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing (CGC) ($10.00 fee per dog)
-Herding Instinct Testing ($50.00 fee per dog)
