Description: Researchers, health professionals, community organizations, and advocates throughout Texas and the nation are invited to attend CPRIT's 3rd annual Innovations in Cancer Prevention and Research Conference. The conference will provide up-to-date information on issues related to cancer research, commercialization, prevention, and control. In addition to progress on CPRIT, a groundbreaking cancer research and prevention initiative passed by the voters of Texas in 2007, the conference will provide a forum for lessons learned, challenges ahead, and hope for progress against cancer.
The 2012 Innovations in Cancer Prevention and Research Conference program will begin the morning of Wednesday, October 24 and conclude Friday, October 26 around noon. The conference venue is the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas.
