How To Help Mexico

Our Spanish-Language Sister Stations Have A Tip

The images coming out of Mexico City have been just horrible to watch - of course they happen to coincide with horrific images from Florida and Puerto Rico, not to mention the huge mess still remaining to be dealt with on our own Texas coast.

Being in a foreign country, the usual agencies like FEMA or the American Red Cross are not the automatic places to put your money if you'd like to help Mexico. There is a nice rundown of Mexican aid organizations from the New York Times, and our colleagues here at Emmis Austin with Latino 102.7 and 107.1 La Zeta also recommend a fundraising drive being spearheaded by two of Mexico's prominent futbol heroes, found HERE - the English version can be found by clicking "Read More" at the bottom.

All our love and prayers to our friends down south.
