SXSW Crash Victim Meets Ed Sheeran

After being hit in the SXSW crash and having to re-learn how to walk, recent high school graduate, Mason Endres, got to meet singer Ed Sheeran.

After recording a taping of Austin City Limits on Wednesday night, Sheeran met up with Endres inside the Moody Theater’s green room.

Sheeran brought Endres a hand-written lyric from his song “All of the Stars,” which she says will be her next tattoo.

Endre returned the favor by giving Sheeran a stuffed Grumpy Cat doll, a cat T-shirt and a mix-CD.

After Endres was injured in the crash, her friends starting tweeting #EdMeetMason. The news spread to KGSR as well as ACL organizers, who helped get the two together.

Sheeran is currently on tour with Taylor Swift and recently released a new single called “Thinking Out Loud.”
