Welcome back to another edition of Song of the Week, by yours truly! In light of the recent release of Toro y Moi's new album Boo Boo I'd like to highlight the track, "Mirage" (which has already proven itself to be a rising hit off the album!)

With this one, Chaz Bundick seemingly to alludes to the late Prince, dropping in those familiar high pitched synth riffs and addressing the audience in  sensual tongue in cheek asides. Bundick begins the track in stating "I just want everyone to have a good time, I really do" and leaves them lingering with a less than subtle "Oh hello, I didn't see you there."

Sonically, this is an ode to disco and the 80's and roller rinks, sure to make anyone get in the groove!

And check out this video featuring the full album, that literally takes you for a ride! --> "Mirage" starts at 0:00
