4th of July:
If your 4th of July isn’t complete without fireworks, here’s where you can catch them:
Buda: Red, White and Buda Independence Celebration Parade and Fireworks features children's festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. The Buda Chamber of Commerce will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs. The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. More info here.
Cedar Park: Carnival games, face painting and free watermelon. Plus fireworks from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Free. Milburn Park. More here.
Circuit of the Americas: Austin Symphony H-E-B July Fourth Concert & Fireworks @ Circuit of the Americas. 8:30 p.m. Free. 9201 Circuit of the Americas. More here.
Georgetown: The Sertoma Club July 4th Celebration and Fireworks features arts and crafts, food, a petting zoo, and a car show, followed by a fireworks. 11 a.m. Free. San Gabriel Park, 445 E. Morrow, Georgetown. More here.
Kyle: 4th of July Concert & Fireworks. Music by Starlight Symphony Orchestra, followed by fireworks on the front lawn at Hays CISD Performing Arts Center. 7 to 9:30 p.m. Free. 21003 Interstate 35, Kyle. 512-268-2141. More here.
Leander: Liberty Fest features games and a live performance from Roger Creager with special guest Bri Bagwell, followed by fireworks. 6 to 10 p.m. Free. Festival entry will be on U.S. 183A South between San Gabriel Parkway and Hero Way. More here.
Pflugerville: The Pfirecracker Pfestival features music, festival food and games for kids followed by fireworks. 3 to 11 p.m. Free. Lake Pflugerville, 18216 Weiss Lane. More here.
Round Rock: The Round Rock Express plays the Nashville Sounds, followed by fireworks. 7 p.m. $16. Dell Diamond, 3400 East Palm Valley, Round Rock. More here. OR, July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration features a parade, carnival rides, a jalapeno eating contest, movies in the park, skydivers and more. The festival opens at 12 p.m., with activities all day. Fireworks begin at dark, and the movie "Despicable Me 2" will play afterward in the park. More info here.
Summerfest San Marcos: Food, live music, a children's parade and costume contest, followed by fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Free parking, free event. San Marcos Plaza Park. More here.
Taylor: Festival and Fireworks. Parade, flag-raising ceremony, contests, food and the third annual Rubber Duck Race. 4 p.m. Friday. Free. 1600 Veterans Drive, Taylor. More here.
