Wizard World - Austin Comic Con & Gaming
4 PM - 9 PM | Austin Convention Center
Dress up as your favorite fictional character and join Austin's film, comic, and gaming fans at the annual Austin Comic Con convention! There's tons of vendors and exhibitions to check out, and special guest appearances all weekend long including Val Kilmer, Jon Heder, Jason Momoa, Summer Glau, and many more! Tickets are still available on the Wizard World website.
Wild Child with Icing, and Batty Jr.
8 PM - 11 PM | Historic Scoot Inn
When you've had enough cosplaying for the evening, come on over to the Scoot Inn: local favorites Wild Child are headlining a gig tonight with CAKE tribute band, Icing, and up-and-coming alternative folk group, Batty Jr. Tickets are still available for $20 each - don't miss out!
Saturday, November 18th
Chuy's Children Giving to Children Parade
11 AM - 12 PM | Downtown Austin
Join us Saturday morning for the 29th annual parade! It's a great time for the whole family and for a great cause: make sure to bring any new, unwrapped toys you'd like to donate to Operation Blue Santa, who will be collecting at the parade and donate to children in need this holiday season.
Hotel Vegas Yard Sale
11 AM - 6 PM | Hotel Vegas (21+)
Start off your day on the Hotel Vegas patio which will host over 20+ local artists, craftspeople, and vendors throughout the day for their monthly yard sale. Entry is totally free and there will be live music, DJ sets, a brunch menu, and drink specials to keep you occupied throughout your shopping spree.

Jean-Philip Grobler AKA indie/electronic musician St. Lucia is stopping through Austin for a FREE gig tomorrow night. Yes, we said free. Space will be very limited so St. Lucia fans should get there early to secure your spot! Doors will open at 9pm sharp.
The Surreal Jungle
7 PM | 407 Radam Ln.
Celebrate 100 years of neon art at Ion Art & ArtSeen Alliance's Surreal Jungle: a free interactive art experience where you'll explore a landscape of neon plants, animals, and hidden treasures. Costumes are encouraged! Anyone above age 12 may enter the jungle, though the courtesy drinks will be reserved for 21+.
Austin Culture Fest
1 PM - 5 PM | 407 Radam Ln.
Spend your Saturday afternoon travelling the seven continents at Austin Cultural Fest, as you enjoy music, food, art, and vendors from various cultures around the world. There will also be live performances and teachings of traditional dances, and it's sure to be a really fun and educational experience for the whole family. RSVP now on Eventbrite!

Haute Holiday: A Christmas Affair
11 AM - 4 PM | Palmer Events Center
It's the final day of The Junior League of Austin's 42nd Annual Haute Holiday! Knock out all of your holiday shopping before Thanksgiving (and maybe grab a gift or two for yourself) at the glamourous four-day holiday market that boats over 200 vendors from across the country. Entry costs $15 per person and includes a shuttle ride to and from Barton Creek Mall to alleviate the stress of parking.
Austin Empty Bowl
11 AM - 3 PM | Central Texas Food Bank
If shopping isn't really your thing, come grab lunch at the Austin Empty bowl! Here's how it works: potters from around Central Texas donate crafted bowls of all colors, shapes and sizes, 30 restaurants and bakeries donate their tasty soups and breads, and local musicians donate their time to come perform for the guests! It's $20 to enter and that gets you a handcrafted bowl, a yummy soup meal, and live music from Bonnie Whitmore, Graham Weber, The Therapy Sisters, and more!
Comedy Around the Campfire
6 PM - 9 PM | Space 24 Twenty
End your weekend right, by gathering around a campfire after sunset with some of Austin's most hilarious comedians! Vanessa Marie Gonzalez, Rob Gagnon, Elizabeth Spears, Chris Tellez, Pat Dean, Joe Tullar, and host Jt Kelley will be bringing the jokes, Frank is bringing the hot chocolate and s'mores (with vegan options for both), Urban Outfitters is bringing the raffle prizes, and all you need to bring is yourself! And maybe a blanket, depending on how the weather decides to feel that day.
