Happy New Year! One of our favorite ways to kick off a new year is by making it out to as many Free Week shows as possible. For any of Austin's newcomers: Free Week occurs every year throughout the first week of January and is a time when many local venues curate a variety of shows with some of Austin's best local acts, and they're totally free! It's always a fun time and a great way to start 2018 with a few favorite band. There's so many great lineups going on all week (which you can find a full listing of over at showlistaustin.com) but we've curated a selection of shows you definitely don't want to miss down below.
