Broadcasts CD: Bundles, downloads, & everything you need to know

We've had a lot of people asking us about the Broadcasts Vol. 22 CD: Can I buy CDs from previous years? Is it available digitally? What's this whole bundle business? So we put together a FAQ page that will hopefully answer all your questions!

Broadcasts CD FAQs:

Can I buy Broadcast CDs from past years?
Yes! This year, you can buy past CDs as part of a bundle, but only up to Vol. 18. The bundle that had the most Broadcasts CDs (Vol. 14 - 22) sold out quickly.

What's included in a bundle?
Depends on which bundle you get, but a bundle will include this year's Broadcasts CD + past volumes. You can get the bundle with Vol. 22 (this year) and Vol. 21, you can get Vol. 22 through Vol. 20, and so on. The earliest volume you can get now in the bundle is Vol. 18 (until it sells out).

Who's on this year's Broadcasts CD?
Ingrid Michaelson, Boy & Bear, Jason Mraz, The 1975, G. Love, Jamestown Revival, Passenger, Vance Joy, American Authors, and Shakey Graves, just to name a few. There are 36 bands total.

What artists are included in past Broadcasts CDs?
The Avett Brothers! Spoon! Willie Nelson! Norah Jones! Mat Kearney! Ed Sheeran! We've had SO MANY great artists stop by to participate. Click here to see past track lists.

When will the CD be available?
Friday, November 28th (aka Black Friday) or you can pre-order it right now.

How much will it cost?
$15. Bundles range from $25 - $50.

Can I get a digital download instead of a hard copy?
For the first time ever, we can say YES! Digital downloads of Vol. 22 are available this year but only a limited amount so they could be gone at any moment.
Pre-order it here.

What organizations does the CD benefit?
The CD benefits the SIMS Foundation and the Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas. The SIMS Foundation provides access and financial support for mental health and addiction recovery to Austin musicians and their family members. Seton Medical Center is the only hospital in Central Texas that performs heart transplants.

Because listeners have bought Broadcast CDs over the years, we've all helped raise over $2.5 million for SIMS!

What else makes this CD different?
It's exclusive content: all the songs on the CD were recorded live from the KGSR Music Lounge. Each of the tracks originated from on-air visits to the KGSR Music Lounge, both in-studio and backstage at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, at our SXSW live broadcasts at W Austin, and other great Austin venues.

Austin Area locations, Central Market
North & South locations, Waterloo RecordsAntone’s RecordsWild About MusicPiranha Records, & Oat Willie’s.
