KGSR SXSW Morning Broadcast Friday Preview: Troi Irons and More!

In preparation for KGSR's Live Morning Broadcast at SXSW, we're here to get you in-the-know with music from some up-and-coming artists from each morning.  Check out these featured artists playing Friday morning, March 17.

Full lineup here: KGSR SXSW LIVE MORNING BROADCAST AT SXSW

Or you can listen to the full KGSR SXSW Live Morning Broadcast playlist on Spotify!

6:30AM Troi Irons "Today"

For a song that begins "today I feel like suicide...", Troi irons has a decievingly uplifting EP in Turbulence.  She's drawn comparisons to Imgonen Heap, Alanis Morisette, Alicia Keys and Zoe Kravitz.  Still though, there's something uniquely 'Troi' that you'll see for yourself, should you come to KGSR's live broadcast on Friday.

7AM Muddy Magnolias "Brother, What Happened"

Their sound and their message in this song - both timeless.  Muddy Magnolias hail from Nashville; though one half of the duo, Kallie North, is originally from Beaumont, TX!

7:30AM Lewis Watson "Deep the Water"

Talk to a Lewis Watson fan, and one of the first words out of their mouth will be "YouTube".  Watson began uploading videos of himself performing at age 15...and eventually they took on a fanbase even he couldn't have imagined.
