All eyes turn to Austin, Texas as the 2012 ACL Music Festival returns to
Zilker Park October 12th - 14th! 75,000 plus music lovers will converge,
on what is widely accepted as the one of the premier music festivals in
the world, to experience more than a hundred bands on eight stages over
three days. Historically, ACLMF has offered a diverse range of musical
fare from chart-toppers to Avant-garde, local heroes to world icons,
internet sensations to full-fledged rock royalty. This year is no
exception, featuring The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young and
Crazy Horse, Florence + The Machine, The Shins, Iggy & The Stooges, Gotye,
Weezer, and many, many more.
 No other radio station in Austin gets you up close and personal with ACL
like KGSR! Listen to us all throughout the weekend as we broadcast live,
with exclusive interviews and live performances from backstage at the 2012
ACL Music Festival. Gotye, The Lumineers, Old 97's and more are all

 Austin's own Wheeler Brothers have spent a lot of time with KGSR this summer, and thanks to ACL, they're coming back for more! They're three-part brothers and two-parts friends, but all parts indie country rock. It's the kind of music that only Texas could bring you. They've performed at KGSR's Unlplugged and Blues on the Green series and now you can watch them at Threadgill's for a live performance the day before they hit the ACL stage.
