on what is widely accepted as the one of the premier music festivals in
the world, to experience more than a hundred bands on eight stages over
three days. Historically, ACLMF has offered a diverse range of musical

internet sensations to full-fledged rock royalty. This year is no
exception, featuring The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young and
Crazy Horse, Florence + The Machine, The Shins, Iggy & The Stooges, Gotye,
Weezer, and many, many more.
No other radio station in Austin gets you up close and personal with ACL
like KGSR! Listen to us all throughout the weekend as we broadcast live,
with exclusive interviews and live performances from backstage at the 2012
ACL Music Festival. Gotye, The Lumineers, Old 97's and more are all
scheduled to stop by. We'll also be broadcasting live with more live
performances on Friday and Saturday morning from Threadgill's World Head
Quarters! Click here for schedule and broadcast times.
Still not enough ACL to satisfy your music hunger? We've also got tickets

The Eastern Sea is one of Austin's up-and-coming bands of the moment. Their folksy edge mixed with bits of delicate background vocals and keyboard are perfect easy-listening. What started as the solo project of singer/songwriter Matthew Hines, the collective has evolved since 2005 to become a seven-man-band. You may remember them from playing at KGSR's Blues on the Green in August, but if you didn't get a chance to see them then, you can watch them at ACL. The Eastern Sea's second album, Plague, just came out over the summer. Take a look at their music video for the single, "A Lie" below.
