
1. Where is Zilker Park? Zilker Park is located at 2100 Barton Spring Road. Zilker Park is on Barton Springs Road, just east of MoPac and half a mile west of Lamar Blvd. Click here for a map.
2. Where is the stage located? The stage for Blues on the Green will be on the east end of Zilker Park where Lou Neff Road wraps around (similar to where the Livestrong Stage is for ACL).
3. What can I bring? 2 factory sealed bottles of water in clear plastic containers, blankets, lawn chairs, dogs on leashes, children.
4. Will food and drinks be sold? Yes. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from our food vendors. Click here for vendor map.
5. What is prohibited? Glass, alcohol, weapons, or styrofoam. Please be courteous to those around you - no tents, tables, and grills.
6. Where do I park? Public parking is available either across the street by the Barton Springs pool or the big lot off of Stratford Drive by the Mopac Bridge. In addition, free parking will available at the One Texas Center after 5pm. Motorcycles: Please enter via the public parking entrance off the south side of Barton Springs Road (pool side) and veer left to the Pecan Grove area. A small parking fee may apply.
7. Is there Handicap Parking/Access? Handicap parking is available in all of the adjacent parking lots and handicap ramp access is available into the park.
9. Will there be bicycle parking? Yes - bike racks will be located at the North and South ends of the park.
10. Is there a bus route to Zilker Park? Yes - the following bus routes go to Zilker Park: 29 and 30. Click here for a Capital Metro route map.
11. What if it rains? Like most outdoor events and festivals, KGSR's Blues on the Green is a rain or shine event. Stay tuned to KGSR or join the Blues on the Green text alert club (text "blues" to 68704) for event updates should the weather become dangerous or the park be unsuitable for events.
12. Why is the event free? KGSR's Blues on the Green has always been a free community event. Our event sponsors along with the support of Austin Parks and Recreation make the event possible so please thank them and support their businesses.
