How to recycle you styrofoam, electronics, appliances and more in Austin

Of course you do your part to help the earth by recycling! Carefully going through all your glass, plastics, and paper is just another part of the routine. But when that new package comes from Amazon and it's full of packing peanuts, have you thought "what am I supposed to do with these?" Or when your TV breaks and it's time to toss out the old and kick back with the new, where can it safely be disposed?

There a few safety guidelines to keep in mind when you're bring your items in. For instance, the Austin Resource Recovery ask that products are brought in original containers and that they're not mixed.
They also ask that items are brought in 5-gallon (or smaller) containers. 

While you're there, you can also pick up free items to reuse yourself from the Re-Use store, like paint, cleaning products, and even mulch!
